can you clarify what an "off-set" is?
DCumberbatch

Thank you for your question Elizabeth. When an unobligated balance of funds are reported at the end of a budget period, if these funds are not requested for carryover into a subsequent or future budget period, the funds can be offset or applied against future funding.
Brittney Nichols

If we will have an unobligated balance but are intending to complete a carry over request, would we still be considered non-responsive (assuming you meet the first criteria as well)?

Could a state, like WI, that currently does not have a medical recognition program apply? Could we still focus on PM 04
debbie Kuhn
01:01:59
Nebraska is just starting a recognition program, so if I understand correctly, these funds could assist achieving PM04.

Can state partnership programs work together for a single application for something like a regional award?
Erica Kane

So this is for this current period, expires in March 2022 and we won't hear back regarding the award until the end of Sept? and so we will be expected to spend ~$200K in 6 months? Will this have carryover capacity?
Anna K. Sessa (EMS for Children)
01:03:53
ok, thank you
Sam Harrison (ND)
01:04:36
Just a small clarification: for item 1 on Other Considerations, we could still qualify if we had more than 45% of an unobligated balance in only ONE of those years, right?
debbie Kuhn

Great question Sam!

Confirming Notice of awards are anticipated in September - correct? Just asking for the work plan and the potential expert consultant recruitment.
J. Sam Hurley
01:07:26
While I understand that you can guess... do you think that there will be any future funding that will extend this? While I would love to say that there is some amazing sustainability program, this sounds like a one-time influx -- is that fairly accurate?
Cynthia Wright Johnson
01:08:18
Thank you - that also answers my question !
