Oksana Cobb
50:34

Rich Manski

Ok, thanks. One more question please. How are you defining "department of primary care medicine?" Does it mean at a school of medicine or does it mean any facility that provides primary care medicine?
Oksana Cobb
54:08
@Rich, added it.
Elena Thomas Faulkner
54:52
Can applicants be accredited health professions schools in another area, who are proposing to a add dental health program?
Julie Bauer Cook

While we noted the CDC Social Vulnerability Index link in the NOFO: Does HRSA have a preferred structure or rubric to succinctly relay the data regarding those highest risks for health disparities, low health literacy and infrastructure as per the Disparity Impact Statement?
Oksana Cobb
56:54
@Elena, added it.
Michael Glick
57:05
Treatment of medically complex patients is a major tenet of the specialty of Oral Medicine. Do you consider General Dentistry as part of a training program with an oral medicine focused program?

@Rich Manski, is your question about "department of primary care medicine" in reference to Priority 1: Collaborative Project? just want to make sure I get it right.
Karl Sunrise CHC
59:37
I am at a community health center that participates in training dental students and dental hygiene students (both types of students' schools are CODA accredited). Does our written agreement with the schools and my community health center's role in providing training in caring for medically complex, patients receiving behavioral health care, as well as individuals from unserved/underserved communities meet the accreditation environment? My organization itself is not CODA accredited.
Oksana Cobb
01:01:09
@Karl, you question has been queued.
Burton Edelstein
01:03:10
The NOFO describes two work plan requirements: (1) the SWP, and (2) the "work plan chart" described on the bottom of page 13. Are applicants to provide an overview workplan in the narrative plus a detailed plan in the SWP?
Elena Thomas Faulkner
01:04:39
Could a proposal focus on training of other health professionals (CHWs, Medical assistants) on oral health screening and early intervention? Or would it need to be broader?
Xinbin Gu
01:06:26
We have currently received a HRSA-SDS grant for predoctoral dental students. Are we qualified to apply this grant?
Oksana Cobb

Oksana Cobb
01:09:58
@Heather, your question has been added.
Burton Edelstein
01:10:42
The SWP instructions (item 5) state that "If the NOFO has specific objectives, the program's objectives must be used.". The NOFO includes four Program objectives on page 1. Should the NOFO objectives be used in the SWP or should applicants use their own program objectives?
Heather Layton
01:10:48
If community colleges are eligible, what are ways to make our grant more competitive to reviewers as we noticed previous grantees have never been a two-year institution?
Oksana Cobb
01:11:33
@Heather, I added your follow up question to the original.
Oksana Cobb
01:12:04
@Burton, added your question as well.

In follow-up to the information just stated: Given that the Abstract is now part of the application package and is part of the form set, are we correct in understanding it DOES NOT count toward the page limit (since it is not an uploaded file)? p. 10 of the NOFO.
Oksana Cobb
01:18:56
@Rich, it's up to the applicant how many priorities they apply and provide appropriate documentation.
Oksana Cobb
01:20:18

Marisa Watanabe
01:29:05
Question: Priority #2 Formal Relationships clarification: The NOFO does not indicate that the formal relationship must include a pediatric specific training program; however, in this presentation slide 45, the Note Section indicates that the "relationship must be for the planning and implementation of the pediatric training..." Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.
