Do you use the same visit types for your non-reimbursable services? (ie diabetes education). And if so, what visit/appointment types do you have set for telemedicine visits, and does that workflow differ for audio-only t/m?

what are you doing for pts who need training and or technical assistance to use telehealth/technology...and what barrier busters have you developed to address pt lack of access to appropriate devices and or internet service?

how do you classify audio-only telemed and what is your philosophy around audio-only versus a/v?

Were patients educated on telehealth prior to receiving teleservices?

we discussed this in depth here in Alaska. the one concern is opioid abuse and safeguards for that and the other was missed symptoms on camera as opposed to in person.

In Wisconsin, we called them C.O.Ws Computers on Wheels....

I recommended having a full body screen like seeing the patient's entire body, not just their face.

with the robots how was the physical findings documented for proper coding?

in acute, when do you use the ipads on a stick versus the fancy teledoc robot and are you happy with that decision?

when you say, "make money", do you mean that doctors have to pay for this service to some telehealth company? can't they just use their own computers and bypass paying anyone?

so it stays private still?

Did I hear you correctly - RN visits are not reimbursable for telehealth?

how do they prevent opioid abuse?

For RN visits that are turned over to a provider such as a positive pregnancy test, would that be reimbursable under the provider?

Sometimes patients access specialty care from other tribal health clinic outside of their local tribal health organization HUB or Anchorage, such as for Addiction Medicine. There are only a few IHS Internet eligible provider designation Addiction specialists in the state (I work in Ninilchik), and ANMC does not have a designated addiction specialist to refer to. Although this service is available to connect patients in any location to care wherever it is available, sometimes the local administrators don't understand the legal/billing issues around telemedicine and tend not to refer patients for this care from their facilities.

What would be the next move for cross platform for multi-billing for more care providers especially in rural areas? or is that even possible at this point for health care as a whole?

If the patient comes to clinic to have a visit with a remote provider, are there particular tools you recommend as far as oto/ophthalmoscope/stethoscope with camera/Bluetooth that the MA can use to facilitate physical exam?

is there a way to get information pamphlets about this to our village ? Our seniors were asking alot of questions
